distracted by shiny

Always a problem. If you use that funny line about dogs and squirrels, shiny things would be mine. So, glossy paper, why yes, shiny reflections are shiny and thus must be great. Must be great. Must be.

 As most always, shiny falls flat. Well. I mean, you know, shiny does shiny. Then the image behind it gets lost. Proof in point, this one. To take a photo of this photo (which, once said, my brain rejects as a thing that should be said), I had to close blinds, aim lights away, angle the phone, and it still came out weird. And crooked. But mostly weird. Thankfully, it was only a sampler pack, and there will only be a few more shiny to fall victim too.
